The Bates family has shared a number of updates with fans following Erin Bates giving birth to her seventh child, Henry, back in August. Recently, Erin has reunited with her family since making headlines over her various health issues. Fans have since been given a glimpse at the touching moment on social media.
Chad & Erin Bates Paine Share Seven Children As Of August 25, 2025
Erin Bates is the second daughter of Gil and Kelly Jo Bates’ nineteen children. She and her family became known to viewers through various reality shows, such as UP TV’s Bringing Up Bates.
Erin has since started a family of her own since marrying Chad Paine in 2013. Back in August, the family announced the birth of their seventh child, Henry. The couple’s six other children are Carson, William, Brooklyn, Everly, Holland, and Finley.
At the time, the family called on fans for prayers as Erin was dealing with various health complications following the birth. Throughout this time, the family has also shared updates, including Erin eventually returning home.
In one such emotional update, Lawson Bates took to YouTube to share his recent reunion with his sister. At the time, Erin was still staying in the ICU in Florida. He also brought a few members of the family along for the ride, including Erin’s other children.
A description shared, “Our whole family is in Florida to visit Erin and Baby Henry in the ICU. It’s a roller coaster as Erin’s health remains uncertain, with doctors still searching for answers. Our crew grows to a family of nine as we take all of Chad and Erin’s kids for a wild adventure at a theme park!”

In the video, Lawson also featured the moment when he brought Chad and Erin’s six oldest children to visit their parents and their new brother in the hospital. In the video, he explained the moment was a “surprise” for the kids. As seen in the moment, the children happily took turns hugging and kissing Erin and Chad.
The big moment then came when Henry was wheeled out so that his brothers and sisters could meet him. Loving him at first sight, they even asked if they could “pet” him, soon taking turns to see who could make him smile.
The children also asked if they could hold him, but were told just to look at him for now. The family soon broke out into singing, “This Little Light Of Mine.”
For his part, Lawson felt the surprise was “top-tier.” The video continued, showing him taking the kids to SeaWorld.
