Pregnant Jana Duggar Says the ‘Anticipation Is Building’ as She Gets Ready to Welcome Her First Baby

On Wednesday, Dec. 17, the pregnant 35-year-old shared a few photos on her Instagram as she showed off her pregnant belly. In the photos, Jana, who is expecting her first baby with husband Stephen Wissmann, could be seen snapping selfies in a mirror, posing from the side.

Wearing black leggings and a long-sleeve shirt, Jana smiled in one photo. “The anticipation is building in our home! Can’t wait to meet this little guy! 💙,” she wrote in her caption.

Back in September, Jana revealed on Instagram that she’s halfway to her due date. In her post, the mom-to-be shared a set of recent selfies proudly showing off her bump in the mirror and revealing how far along she was. In the first photo, she could be seen wearing a gray sweater, jeans and a red hat as she gently cradled the bottom of her baby bump.

In a follow-up photo, Jana turned to face the mirror as she once again held her bump. The first snap showed a side profile of her growing belly, while the second showed a more head-on picture.

“Halfway through pregnancy and I’m still in awe! It sure has flown by!” Jana captioned the photo. “I love feeling those tiny kicks these days!”

Jana first revealed her pregnancy on Instagram in August alongside a set of photos of her kissing Wissmann and the pair showing off her growing bump in another.

“We are so excited, January 2026 is going to come with a little bundle of joy joining our family!” they wrote in their caption.

“We’re counting down the days and eagerly looking forward to this thrilling new chapter in our lives!” they added.

The announcement came almost exactly one year after they got married in a “classic, elegant” ceremony in front of 500 close family and friends in Prairie Grove, Ark. The ceremony took place a few months after they got engaged on June 15, 2024.

Several of Jana’s family were in attendance for the big event, including Jessa Duggar Seewald, Joy-Anna Forsyth, Johannah Duggar, Jinger Duggar Vuolo and Jordyn Duggar and sister-in-law Abbie Duggar.
