Poor Kody—he thought he would go and apologize to Christine, and she would believe him. Sister Wives fans are well aware that Christine completely cut ties with Kody. However, when she learned about the apology tour, she said she did not want to see him. But her husband, David, encouraged her and said he would be with her. TLC shared a sneak peek of how things unfolded between the three.
Kody told Christine that he wants her to heal. He said, “And healing will probably, can, maybe happen. I can’t tell you how it’s going to happen or what.” Christine seemed a little confused by what Kody said. He continued that if he apologizes, she can get the space to heal. Christine told him that he needs to understand that everything is in the past. “It’s in the past, and it’s okay,” she said.
Sister Wives: Is Christine Related To Kody?
Christine Brown has dropped a massive bombshell on Sister Wives viewers. In a recent episode of the show, Woolley revealed that she was related to Kody. Moving ahead, the reality TV star revealed that Christine and her ex-husband are “third cousins, once removed.” She made the shocking confession in front of her husband, David Woolley.
She explained that when she was growing up, she knew she would have to marry a convert because she was related to everybody in the church. “I knew growing up that I would have to marry a convert because I was literally related to everybody in the church,” Christine exclaimed. She further stated that she had married a convert, but she was still related to him.
“Yeah, I’m related to Kody,” she confirmed. She continued, “Third cousins, once removed, is fully legal.” Fans may recall that Kody is also related to Janelle, as they are step-siblings. Her mother fell in love with Kody’s father, and a few months before their wedding, they married. Janelle has spoken at length about this and how she coped.
Janelle reminded fans that Christine and Kody had joked about being cousins. She explained that in polygamous families, this kind of thing happens. “It wasn’t the kind of relationship where you saw each other at a family reunion,” she added. “It was a very distant relationship but they would always joke about being cousins.
