Carlin recently took to Instagram to share a clip from her family’s long road trip. According to the Bringing Up Bates star, she’s curious about how their 5-hour trip with the kids will go, which is why she decided to document it. They had a handful of stopovers to eat and take a break. They were driving a Tesla car, and some parts of the video show Evan not touching the wheel due to the vehicle’s auto-driving feature. Carlin later revealed that they’re heading to meet their friends, Taylor and Sophia Watts. The two are known for their social media content about their family, religious beliefs, and hilarious skits. But Carlin hinted that they have an interesting purpose for their meetup.

Meanwhile, several people speculate that Carlin and Evan may end up attending the tournament in person, which could give them opportunities to appear on national TV. Regardless, others hope Carlin won’t utilize The Masters to generate social media clicks, especially since it’s forbidden to bring or use phones or other devices at the tournament.
- “I’m fairly certain you’re not allowed to bring any type of phone or devices to The Masters.”
- “After seeing how Sophie dresses her girls, Carlins sudden style change with her own kids clothing makes so much more sense.”
- “Going to the Masters during the week is fairly easy and common. Going on Saturday and Sunday is a huge flex. Curious what day they will be going. And yes, no cell phones on the course, most people leave them at home or at the hospitality tent (if you have access)”
- “Perhaps both the males are going while the females and kids do something ‘special’ they can vlog.”
- “I have a family member who tried for 25 years before eventually getting tickets. Getting tickets is no joke. I guess there are some perks to being influencers.”
