He was initially scheduled for a hearing on March 4, and this is when Kelly’s lawyer, Beau Brindley, entered into the dynamics. He filed motions in the U.S. District Court in Fayetteville to officially join Josh’s legal team.
Beau further filed a motion to appear “Pro Hac Vice.” This means he would be stepping into this case on one occasion. Josh and Beau’s luck worked as even Timothy signed off on both motions. This came after Josh claimed that he was broke in prison and didn’t have money at all. Yet he ended up hiring a celebrity lawyer to prove his innocence, and critics know it doesn’t even exist.
Duggar News: Prosecutors Present New Evidence In Court
Duggar News followers recently learned about Josh Duggar’s latest hearing. Apparently, he had a virtual appearance on April 15 in a federal courthouse. He wanted to appeal for his so-called child sexual crime conviction. Josh presented “EIGHT” arguments, where he argued why he deserved to have a trial and even vacate his conviction.
As per Josh Duggar, the trial was unfair in the case where he reportedly molested his own sisters. Moreover, the arguments center around serious claims, including that his former legal team failed to properly question another person who had access to the computer where the illegal material was found. Fans were in disbelief when they learned that Josh even accused a Department of Justice expert of giving false testimony under oath.
As per Josh, another DOJ specialist presented information that unfairly influenced the case. He had a two-hour hearing in which the court focused on his appeal. It further focused on when and where he filed his appeal. This is because Josh ended up filing his appeal on the last day. This came after several failed attempts.
Viewers are now waiting to see how the proceedings are going to proceed, what is coming next. Apparently, prosecutors have earlier told the court that Josh “repeatedly downloaded and viewed images” that were actually showing sexual abuse of kids.
