Christine Brown Woolley from Sister Wives was in her 20s when she married Kody. They were in a polygamous marriage, and before Christine, Kody had two more wives. Christine’s parents were also polygamists, so it was nothing new to her. However, she still struggled to adjust to the family. Christine felt neglected and unloved in the relationship. So, after over 25 years of marriage, she decided to divorce Kody.
After her divorce, she started looking for love and met David Woolley. The duo hit it off and got married. She is now in a happy space of mind and is reflecting upon her past experiences. Christine, in the recent Tell All segment of Sister Wives, told host Sukanya how it’s embarrassing and weird that she was fixated on Kody. She would go out of her way to accommodate him in her life, while he was not at all interested.
Sister Wives: Christine Questions Kody’s Integrity!
In a Sister Wives episode, Christine explained that many people assume polygamous marriages involve jealousy. However, that was never the case with Janelle and Meri. She was always chill with them, but Robyn was a different ballgame. The OG3 were in their own world, but after Robyn came, everything changed.
Christine further explained that now she feels ‘weird’ that she married someone who had multiple intimate relationships and kissed other women. Kody would kiss his other wives in front of one, and it’s unacceptable to her now. After she suffered in her first marriage, she decided that she would no longer entertain polygamy.

Sister Wives star Christine Brown Woolley has been through a lot in her life. Her marriage to Kody was not at all what she expected. The reality star neglected all his wives, but Christine was always needy and sought affection, which is why she was the most affected by his negligence. In the recent Tell All segment, Christine accepted that she finds it extremely weird and embarrassing. How wrapped up she was around Kody.
She was always concerned about what he needed, what he wanted, and most importantly, what the family wanted. In a way, she lost herself and prioritized everyone before herself. She was more excited about her husband, and it was not at all healthy. The host asked her to elaborate more about the situation. Christine explained that even when Kody was not present with her, she would think about what she would do when he came.
She further added that she would plan the entire day and the activities because Kody would not just do what they were doing. They had to make plans specifically for him to accommodate his needs. It was never the other way around, and they had to be the ones accommodating Kody. That’s not fair to others, and now, when she looks back, it’s embarrassing.
Sukanya then asked Christine if she felt that Kody respected her. The diva replied that she didn’t think he ever felt the need to respect Christine. Maybe in some ways, he did, but she is not sure.
