Maddie Brown recently took to IG Stories to share a lengthy message talking about a certain person with whom she’s cutting ties. According to the Sister Wives star, if that person can’t respect her, then they won’t have access to “them,” which is her kids. Maddie went on to say that that person treats her like “rubbish,” and they don’t get to play “family” when it suits them. Maddie continued with her harsh words without saying who she was referring to. But it’s obvious that she was talking about her father, Kody Brown. Maddie added, “Because my children don’t need to witness mistreatment to understand love.”
Maddie also said that she will never raise her kids to believe that being disrespected is something they accept, adding that their peace is sacred. She continued, “Our time is precious. And as their mama, protecting that is my job, always.”

Maddie Brown has been thriving in North Carolina with Caleb and their kids. She’s also living close to her mother, Janelle, who’s currently building her dream house next to her property. Maddie has also been a proud mother. Recently, she shared how happy she was for Evie’s dance recital.
According to the Sister Wives star, she finally got to see the results of her daughter’s months of practice, and she did phenomenal. She also said that Evie’s limb difference never mattered to her, adding that it only made her strong and resilient. Maddie continued, “Sharp as a tack. And every time I watch her move through the world, I’m reminded how lucky we are to have her extra sparkle in our lives.”
