Josh’s cell previously suffered from harsh punishments due to a prank incident. An inmate allegedly poured a harmful chemical made from mixtures that they were able to purchase using their food budget. As a result, the prison decided to cut inmates’ food budget in half. They were also limited in their recreational time following a contraband. It resulted in inmates doing a hunger strike. But it’s unclear if the Counting On alum participated in it. But it seems the challenges are not yet done for Josh, as new reports claim that he’s now living in a more difficult condition.
Josh Removed From Special Prison Dorm
A new source recently surfaced claiming that Josh Duggar was kicked out of his special prison dorm. The “honors dorm” features special benefits such as appliances, including washers, dryers, and microwaves. It also has painted walls, giving an inmate a cozy experience. It was said that the dorm is for those who work in prison, but the Counting On alum already got there while he was only applying for a job. There’s currently no explanation as to why Josh was moved out of the special dorm. But there’s a possibility that it could be related to a breach of an agreement, as the dorm requires signing a code of conduct agreement, which Josh may have broken.
Counting On: Where Does Josh Duggar Stay Now?
According to the same source, Josh Duggar is now living in a more difficult condition. He now resides in a regular cell with no special benefits. This could mean that the Counting On alum is now living in an extremely hot cell without air conditioning. Not to mention, there have been heat waves in Texas with numerous reports of inmates passing out from the heat. There are also reports stating that Josh’s prison has been dealing with generator issues, resulting in power outages. However, a spokesperson for the FCI Seagoville said that they’ve been doing their best to make improvements. This includes building new rooms with A/Cs and more fans to circulate air.
