During this time, she gave fans a firsthand look as she was about to give birth to her baby. The star also revealed a familiar face was at her side during the moment: her mother, Michelle Duggar.
Michelle Duggar Was There As One Of Her Grandchildren Came Into The World
Michelle Duggar is known as the matriarch of the Duggar family. She and her family, including her 19 children with Jim Bob Duggar, were highlighted in various reality shows, like 19 Kids and Counting and Counting On.
Over the years, viewers have watched the Duggar family grow, especially as Michelle and Jim Bob’s children have had children of their own. Recently, Michelle could be seen helping one of her daughters as she was set to welcome a new life into the world.
Michelle’s daughter Jessa recently took to social media to share her journey as she was about to give birth to her sixth child with Ben Seewald. The video was released on August 2, but had been filmed on July 24, according to Us Weekly.
In the video, Jessa revealed, “All right, little baby update. Tomorrow is my due date. I had an appointment a few days ago. I was dilated to a two and 50% effaced and I lost my mucus plug a few days ago.”
Throughout the video, Jessa shared ways she was preparing to go into labor, such as going on walks. She also shared an image of her baby wall, which contained early images of her children, just as it was about to get a sixth photo.

Towards the end of the video, Jessa shared a special surprise for fans. She shared that her water broke.
During this time, Jessa was at her mother’s house in Arkansas. Meanwhile, one of the final scenes of the video was Jessa lying down in a hospital bed, just as Michelle was beside her, offering her support.
During an episode of her podcast back in April, Michelle’s daughter Jinger also touched on how her mother helped her during her pregnancy. At the time, she shared, “I think that she’s only missed two, but each of ours she’s been there… [My son] Finn is grandbaby No. 37 for my parents, and that is insane to think about.”
Jinger highlighted just how much Michelle does as her grandchildren are welcomed into the world. “So, she comes and serves. She’s, like, taking everything off of your plate every morning. I mean, she wakes up before any of us. It’s really sweet.”
