In a recent Q&A with fans, the couple addressed many questions about their background and beliefs. They did it through a YouTube vlog. When asked about the IBLP, Jason revealed that Maddie had no experience with that way of life. To understand a bit of it, she watched a few episodes of 19 Kids and Counting but admitted she wasn’t a fan of what she had to see.
Jason emphasized that while he loves and respects his parents, he made his own rules when dating Maddie. This comment made it clear that it was a big change from following his parents’ strict rule. Surprisingly, he was making his own decisions as an adult. Fans already had an idea about it. As mentioned above, because of the kind of pictures they were posting on their social media to confirm their relationship.
The former Duggar News child star went on to explain that his and Maddie’s shared experiences before marriage helped shape a new spiritual path. The couple has since moved toward more mainstream Christian beliefs, moving away significantly from the strict teachings of IBLP. But the most shocking part was that Jason subtly confirmed they were intimate before tying the knot.
