He took up Special Forces to challenge himself. This shocked all his fans as well. Kody has never really tried something this daring in his life, but there is a first time for everything. During a recent interview, Kody revealed how his wife reacted to the show. She was the only one who knew about him participating in the stunt-based reality TV show. Previously, Christine even revealed that she had no idea Kody was taking part in another reality TV show. Apart from Kody, Special Forces featured a lot of different celebrities, who all had not-so-nice things to say about him. It seems like Kody made a bad impression in Special Forces as well.

Kody Brown is trading Sister Wives drama for military drills on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. In the trailer, he admits there’s “a bad side of me” as he faces brutal challenges, including a boxing match that ended when staff stopped the fight. The trailer certainly looks interesting, and we’re eager to see how Kody performs.
Kody later confessed that the experience exposed his flaws, breaking him down emotionally and mentally. Though humiliating, he said it left him humbled and grateful, making “the rest of his life sweet.” The new season premieres September 25 on FOX.
Sister Wives: Robyn Was Not On-Board With Kody Brown Joining ‘Special Forces!’
During the interview, Kody revealed his wife, Robyn, felt hesitant about his joining Special Forces. When the show was offered to him, Robyn was not on board with the entire concept. She told him that she didn’t think he should do the show. She didn’t want to see him go through the challenges, and they had numerous discussions about it. At some point, they stopped discussing and simply assumed things.
Kody further explained that Robyn understood the show was essential to him. She couldn’t hold him back, and after a point, she gave up. For him, taking up the show was his way to heal and push forward his boundaries. After the end of his three marriages, he was in a very vulnerable position, and the show became his way to deal with challenges.
In the same interview, Kody revealed that fans will see a different side of him in the show. It was not just about challenges but also about how he was dealing with everything. The show also painted the direction he was walking toward. It was an exceptional experience, and he will cherish it for the rest of his life. The reporter also asked if his ex-wives said anything to him about joining the show.
Kody clarified that they had no idea what he was doing in his life. They are no longer connected, and he is okay with it. He is trying to come to terms with the situation and move forward in life.
