The Bates family has kept fans updated as Erin Bates recently faced complications during the birth of her seventh child. In one recent share, fans were told about another issue impacting Erin as she returned home from the hospital. The Bringing Up Bates star herself opened up about the situation in the recent post.

Viewers were introduced to the Bates family through various reality shows. This includes UP TV’s Bringing Up Bates, which ran for ten seasons from 2015 to 2021. On these shows, fans got to meet Gil and Kelly Jo Bates and their nineteen children.
Recently, Erin Bates, Gil and Kelly Jo’s second daughter and third child, made headlines after he gave birth to her seventh child, Henry, back in August. At the time, the family also shared that she had been facing complications, asking fans to pray for the family.

Throughout this time, the family, especially Erin’s husband Chad Paine, had been keeping fans updated over the situation on social media. In one recent update, Chad had some positive news: Erin’s test results came back “good,” showing she was on the road to recovery.
Chad has since released a further update, which saw Erin as she returned home. Photos included Erin in the car and Chad holding baby Henry in a carrier alongside Kelly Jo.
The first photo showed Erin in a wheelchair, all the while holding her new baby. In a caption, Erin explained the situation. She started off by sharing, “After almost three weeks in the hospital, I have never been so thankful to finally head home to our babies.”
Erin also touched on issues she’s having with her leg. She noted, “We don’t have all the answers yet, and I still don’t have function in my right leg.”

However, Erin remained positive throughout the situation, noting, “We are choosing to count every blessing. Especially the gift of being together again.”
The family will likely share further updates as Erin continues her health journey. She also made it a point to thank fans for their support during this time, concluding, “Your prayers have carried us through and mean the world to our family.”
