It was with a detective from the TPD that she revealed that she had to sit on Joseph’s lap in 2020 during a family trip, and he later “cradled” her with his “arms.” She further claimed that Joseph allegedly asked her to sit on a couch beside him.
He allegedly touched her in an “inappropriate manner” after he covered them with a blanket. As per the minor victim, Joseph touched her private part down there, and his hand was “outside” her underwear. Deputy Sheriff Darrell Norris of the BCSO wrote all of this in the affidavit.

Duggar News update! Joseph Duggar’s case is moving forward, as the Bay County Sheriff’s Office in Florida has already collected some physical evidence related to the case. They have even taken the main witness’s statement. According to the affidavit, both Florida and Arkansas authorities are investigating his case, and People recently obtained it.
The source revealed that the witness who spoke against Joseph is none other than the minor victim. She talked about everything that happened during a family trip to Panama City Beach and accused Joseph of molesting her. As per the arrest warrant, this witness statement is now with the authorities as evidence. The affidavit further revealed that on March 17, 2026, the victim’s father spoke to Joseph about everything that happened.
The source further claimed that Joseph confessed to his deeds during the confrontation, and he again accepted all of this during a telephonic call with the victim’s father. After all of this, Joseph was arrested by TPD and was in custody at the Washington County Detention Facility. Then, on March 20, he appeared in front of the judge. On the same day, Kendra also faced serious charges and had to go behind bars.
