Erin Bates Finally Home After Hospitalization
Erin Bates Paine and her husband, Chad, welcomed their seventh child at the end of August. She suffered unexpected complications after the birth that landed her in the ICU. She developed a UTI and a kidney infection that caused septic shock. The baby, Henry, was placed in the NICU after he was born.
After nearly a month in the hospital, mom and baby were finally released earlier this week. Erin Bates left in a wheelchair and revealed that she’s still struggling to regain the use of her right leg.
While Erin was in the hospital, her sister Carlin Bates Stewart gave birth to her third child. Several of the other Bates family members stepped up to help watch Erin’s six other children while she was in the hospital.
Katie Bates Lashes Out At Fan Over Erin
Erin Bates is one of Gil and Kelly Jo’s nineteen children. They have over thirty grandchildren with the newest arrivals and more to come later this year. One of Erin’s sister’s, Katie, posted on social media that she was sending a gift basket to Carlin after the birth of Carlin’s third child.
One fan asked what Katie sent to Erin after she gave birth to her seventh child. Katie responded that she doesn’t post everything she does and basically told the fan to mind their own business.
Katie said that she did send Erin something on the day Henry was born but didn’t post about it online.

Bringing Up Bates fans were surprised that Katie took the question so personally. One fan wrote on social media that the question wasn’t that serious. Other fans of the show chimed in that Katie was a little too defensive about the question.
