Sister Wives: The NDA Talks For Coyote Pass Came Earlier In The Season

On Sister Wives, the saga of Coyote Pass has been going on for a while, and things haven’t been simple, to say the least. The property was once supposed to be a haven for the family, but eventually, it became a source of contention. Before the Tell-All discussion about the NDA, Kody and Janelle had already discussed this alternative in earlier episodes. Kody admitted he seriously considered a “backdoor deal” that would allow the land to be sold without Meri’s involvement.

His plan was to sell the land quickly, take control of the money, and distribute the money when he got the time. Kody blamed Meri for slowing down the process and claimed she constantly delayed signing the papers. Meri said she felt targeted and explained that she didn’t want to sign. The reason she gave was that she was tired of being blamed for problems she did not have a hand in. Kody later claimed Janelle pressured him to either meet Meri’s demands or move forward without her.

Sister Wives: Kody & Janelle’s NDA Plan Left Meri Feeling Silenced

Sister Wives Tell-All Part 1 revealed what the family members really had to say about the issue, especially now that the land was sold. Janelle explained that the family had received a written offer for Coyote Pass and decided to act fast. She, Meri, and Kody signed the title paperwork within a week and sent the checks to the title company. But the deal was close to expiring when Robyn came into the picture.

According to Janelle, Robyn started demanding that Meri and Janelle sign confidentiality agreements before moving forward. Janelle told host Sukanya Krishnan that Robyn was not active in the deal for weeks, but later came in with the NDA. She felt Robyn did it intentionally, so that she would have control of the deal. But because of the delay, the original deal expired.

Meri also addressed the NDA regarding the Tell-All and said it felt as if the rest of the family members were trying to silence her. She didn’t sign the deal because she did not understand why she was being treated differently. Kody admitted he felt he wanted to sell the land first, then distribute the money later. He also claimed Janelle supported the idea because she wanted her money quickly. For the latest Sister Wives tea, stay tuned to TV Season & Spoilers.
