“Yellowstone” creator Taylor Sheridan has conquered the film industry, but with the recent purchase of a classic Texas restaurant, it seems that Sheridan is looking for more.
Sheridan and his business partners have acquired Cattlemen’s SteakHouse in Fort Worth’s historic Stockyards district. Established in 1947, the restaurant has been undergoing extensive renovations for several months and will reopen with new additions and enhancements, according to Eater Dallas.
The steakhouse will also include a members-only club. Here is what to know about Sheridan’s recent purchase.
What upgrades will Cattlemen’s Steakhouse see?
The upgrades include a broadened food and drink menu, increased dining, bar and event spaces. The steakhouse will add a live-music stage with a lineup chosen by Sheridan. The patio will showcase a stone fire pit and a large screen for watching sporting events.
Another feature is the Cattleman’s Club, an exclusive members-only dining and social venue with 130 seats.
How much does it cost to become a member of the Cattlemen’s Steakhouse club?
According to the announcement, individual memberships are priced at $3,000, with a one-time initiation fee of $1,000. Corporate memberships, covering up to four members, cost $9,000, with an additional $1,000 initiation fee. Additional corporate memberships are available for $2,000 per year.
Sheridan said Fort Worth should be recognized as a special city in Texas.
“Fort Worth is a vital city to both our state and our nation,” Sheridan said in the announcement. “It is where the west begins and where the cattle business was born. It is deserving of a gathering place for those who both shaped this city’s past and guide its future — where friendships can be fostered and formed, and the very best of this city can be celebrated.”
