Sister Wives started in 2010 and has been on air for over a decade and a half. Naturally, a show that runs this long tends to lose its essence. There was a time when something new happened in every other episode. “Sister Wives” used to be the epitome of drama and family entertainment. But now it feels boring, and the show keeps going in loops. The same repetitive storyline continues, and even fans feel bored.
Season 19 Tell-All felt planned, and the wives didn’t reveal anything at all. The OG three wives and Robyn gave the same repetitive explanations and justifications, and the show has lost its spark. Now, fans believe that TLC should cancel the show and start exploring new plotlines. Additionally, since the main objective of Sister Wives, ‘polygamy’ has disappeared, they see no reason to prolong the series any further.
Sister Wives: Kody & Robyn Admit Polygamy Is Over!
During the recent Sister Wives Tell-All, Kody Brown clarified that he’s finished with polygamy. While speaking with host Suki Krishnan, Kody admitted that he has no plans to remarry or expand the family. He called plural marriage a “failure” and said it’s officially off the table.
Robyn agreed with him and shared how heartbroken she feels about how everything turned out. When Suki asked if she’d ever consider welcoming more sister wives, Robyn paused. She even joked that unless God personally tells her it’s time, she’s not ready to bring any new wives into the family.
Sister Wives: Fans Are Extremely Disappointed With Season 19 Tell-All!
Sister Wives started great. Viewers loved to see the polygamous family dynamics unfold every week. They either hated Kody for his behavior or loved the OG3 wives for their emotions. But one thing was sure, nobody could ignore them. The family fell apart after the pandemic, and soon Christine left Kody. Following her lead, even Janelle and Meri left. After 2022, the entire family dynamic changed, and the storyline also fell flat.
Fans expected Sukanya to challenge Robyn and Kody for their misconduct, but nothing happened. It seems like TLC tried to protect their favorites. There was no closure, and nothing new is happening in the show. The Tell-All was also very monotonous, with the same questions and repetitive answers. Fans were unhappy with the episodes and think it is now enough.
The show should conclude, as it no longer offers any entertainment. Fans feel utterly disappointed with the plot and its lack of direction. One fan commented that they had been watching Sister Wives for years but are finally over it. Fans are not annoyed with the show. They simply find that it lacks anything new. There is always an angry Kody and a sobbing Robyn. Also, there is no spice in the show. Moreover, the OG wives have moved on with their respective lives.
