Sister Wives Garrison’s Death Timeline

By the time Season 19 of Sister Wives premiered, Garrison Brown had taken his own life. He passed away in March 2024, but the family seemed to want him blurred out. They did not want to deal with the painful emotions that went along with his passing. Furthermore, it appeared some scenes were reshot or added in. This was to fill in the spots where Garrison may have appeared or to cover up things Kody Brown possibly said about him. Kody had been estranged from his sons and many of his grown children. Therefore, he had no problem speaking his mind, even if it was negative.

In the midseason finale, it appeared that Garrison was still alive. As his mother, Janelle Brown, was packing up to move to North Carolina, she mentioned that the kids were still living in Flagstaff. She pointed out that Gabe, Savanah, and Garrison were not coming with her. Then, when the show returned, it picked up where it left off as Janelle finally made it to North Carolina. However, in her confessional, she stated she only had Gabe and Savanah back in Flagstaff. So, it looks like she moved before he passed and then reshot her interviews postmortem.

As for Garrison’s father, Kody Brown, he helped baptize Robyn Brown’s daughter, Aurora, in the premiere. They soon went to celebrate right after, but that happened in May 2024. This was two months after Garrison passed away. So, between the time that the first part of Sister Wives Season 19 was filmed and the midseason premiere, Garrison died. Many fans have been curious about the family sharing details of his death, if it would even be acknowledged. It has not, but the timeline shows exactly when Garrison passed.

Out Of Sight, Out Of Mind?

Garrison Brown was not featured in Season 19 of Sister Wives in any capacity. However, he was accidentally seen a few times, as the edit did not go as planned. Many fans want to know when he died, specifically because it was only mentioned at the very beginning of the season. A quick disclaimer was posted to honor him, but that was it. Now, viewers have been struggling to watch the show, knowing he likely passed at any time throughout filming:
