Two days after Jana Duggar shared she’s expecting her first baby with husband Stephen Wissmann, the 19 Kids and Counting alum debuted a stylish new hair look, saying she feels like a “new person.”

Two days after sharing she’s expecting her first baby with husband Stephen Wissmann, the 19 Kids and Counting alum unveiled the before-and-after of her stunning hair transformation.
In a video shared to Instagram Aug. 20, Jana sat in her car outside of her salon, with her long dirty blonde hair hanging nearly down to her waist.
“I’m going to get my hair done today,” the 35-year-old said in the clip. “It’s been over a year since I’ve gotten anything done to it—cut, anything. It’s kind of bad.”
Noting that she wanted to “give it more life and color,” the video then cut to Jana with her stylist, who gave her a blunt cut and re-did her blonde highlights, revealing a shorter style that barely fell below her shoulders.
“It’s been way too long!” Jana wrote in the caption alongside the final results. “I’m feeling like a new person.”
Of course, her stylish new look isn’t the only update she’s excited about as of late. Earlier this week, Jana announced that she and Stephen—who she tied the knot with in August 2024—will be welcoming a new addition to their family in early 2026.

And the reality TV personality—who is the second-oldest child of Michelle Duggar and Jim Bob Duggar, along with her twin John-David Duggar—has tons of support from her family in her journey to motherhood as well.
InstagramIn fact, her younger sister Jinger Duggar Vuolo shared that she’s already petitioning to become her future niece or nephew’s favorite relative.
“So stoked for my sis @janamduggar & @stephenwissman,” she gushed in an August 18 Instagram Story. “Can’t wait to meet this precious little one and to be the favorite auntie ha.”
