Deportation Threat Cause Garrick Merrifield’s Arrest?
Seeking Sister Wife fans have watched Garrick and Dannielle Merrifield as they have searched for a second wife. The main conquests have never been from America but rather Brazil. This is likely why the duo obtained a divorce so Garrick could marry their new lady and start a new life. Yes, they had other women who were based in the United States, but the ones who almost made it legal with them were exclusively from Brazil. In the finale of Season 5, it showed that the Merrifields had met Lorrana and were bringing her to America.
In the latest episode, newlywed Lorrana believed she might be pregnant. As followers know, she just welcomed a baby girl, but now it looks like Garrick was just arrested for domestic violence against Lorrana. At the same time, the cause of his anger was seemingly revealed. Supposedly, Lorrana wanted to contact her family overseas, but Garrick snatched her phone. Therefore, she said she wanted to call the authorities. He then stated he would call ICE on Lorrana, and since she did not know the laws, she turned to the Internet.
She wanted to know how to call the police and believed that Garrick caught on. He ultimately turned off the WiFi on her, and he was taken into custody. Lorrana allegedly did not want the Seeking Sister Wife star to be arrested, but did not have a choice in the matter. After twenty-four hours, he was bonded out. It is unclear what will happen next for Garrick and if he will be released from the show. As to why he used ICE as a threat is also unknown, when Lorrana is allowed to be in America.

Seeking Sister Wife fans have been skeptical of the Merrifield family since they came onto the scene. Yet, they are also familiar with couples getting into trouble and losing their spot on TLC. The Snowdens were fan favorites and quite popular. However, Ashley and Dimitri Snowden were accused of assault by one of their sister wives, and that may have caused their demise.
