Garrick Merrifield Arrested For Alleged DV
It has been a rough ride for Garrick and Dannielle Merrifield. He struggled to get his wife to accept his plural marriage proposal. Yet, eventually she did, and Seeking Sister Wife viewers watched the duo obtain a divorce so that Garrick could marry a new woman. They have been engaged a few times and dated several people, but nothing stuck until Season 6. That was when they introduced Lorrana to the world and brought her over from Brazil to America. She just married Garrick, and on the latest episode, which aired on November 24th, she took a pregnancy test.
Lorrana and Garrick have just welcomed a little girl, but fans noticed that she is not featured on the family’s social media page. They began to wonder if she had left them behind, and now, things have only gotten worse. Garrick was arrested on November 25th, 2025, in Chaffee County, Colorado. It is believed that it had something to do with Lorrana simply because there was a Portuguese interpreter. That is Lorrana’s native language, and it has been seen that she still uses a translator app with her husband and Dannielle.
The Seeking Sister Wife staple did get a mugshot taken where he donned glasses and facial scruff. He was then seen behind bars and zooming with a judge and the interpreter. Garrick wore an orange prison outfit, and he appeared quite nervous and uncomfortable. As of now, he has been released from custody as he has been bonded out. It is unknown how he got out and who helped him, but it was likely his ex-wife, Dannielle, who would do anything for him.
